Import your Pipedrive contacts

Export the People list and LifeLong takes it as it is. Pipedrive keeps people and organizations in separate lists, so export People, not Organizations.

Last updated September 2026.

What you get

The columns on your People list. LifeLong reads name, email, phone, job title, organization, and any city, region, country, or website columns you have added. Deals, activities, and notes live on other objects and are not part of this export.

Export from Pipedrive

  1. Open Contacts, then People.
  2. Switch to the list view and pick the filter you want, or leave it on All people.
  3. Add any columns you want to keep, then click the ... menu at the top right.
  4. Choose Export data and set the format to CSV.
  5. Pipedrive builds the file and puts it in Settings under Export data, where you download it. Larger accounts also get an email.

Exporting needs the export permission on your Pipedrive seat. Ask an admin if the option is missing.

The file you end up with

A .csv with one row per person and your column labels as the header row. Upload it as it is. If you export XLSX by habit, save it as CSV first.

What LifeLong does with it

Every row becomes a Person. Matching runs on LinkedIn URL first, then email, then name, so a later export enriches the people you already have instead of duplicating them.

Imported People arrive with no encounters yet, so they sit in the No encounters band on your Network map until something happens with them. They queue in Roll Call, where you decide who matters at your own pace.
