Import guides

Bring the network you already have into LifeLong as a CSV. Pick where your contacts live now and the guide walks the export, start to finish. No account connecting, no app permissions.

Pick your source

• LinkedIn connections
  Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data → Connections
• HubSpot contacts
  CRM → Contacts → Export → CSV
• Salesforce contacts
  Reports → New Report → Contacts → Export → Details Only, CSV
• Pipedrive contacts
  Contacts → People → ... → Export data → CSV

Anything else

Any CSV with a name column works, and an email column makes matching better. LifeLong looks for the header row itself, so exports with a few notes lines above it are fine as they are. If it cannot recognise the columns it tells you rather than guessing.

What happens after you upload

Every row becomes a Person. Matching runs on LinkedIn URL first, then email, then name, so importing a second, richer export later fills in detail on people you already have instead of duplicating them.

Imported People arrive with no encounters yet, so they sit in the No encounters band on your Network map until you meet one or write down what you already remember. They queue in Roll Call, where you decide who matters at your own pace, and Backstory Blitz helps you put the story back on the ones you keep.
