Import your HubSpot contacts

Bring the people out of HubSpot and into LifeLong in one CSV. LifeLong reads a plain contact export, so you do not need to connect the two accounts or grant any app permissions.

Last updated September 2026.

What you get

Whichever properties you export. LifeLong reads first name, last name, email, phone number, job title, associated company, city, state or region, country, and website. Deals, tickets, email history, and notes are not part of a contact export and LifeLong does not import them.

Export from HubSpot

  1. Open CRM, then Contacts.
  2. Pick the view you want to send over. All contacts is the usual one.
  3. Click Export in the bar above the table.
  4. Choose All columns if you want everything, or Columns in view for a leaner file. Either works.
  5. Set the file format to CSV and click Export.
  6. HubSpot emails you a download link, usually within a few minutes.

Exporting needs the export permission on your HubSpot seat. Ask a super admin if the button is greyed out.

The file you end up with

A .csv named after the view, with one row per contact and a header row of property names. Upload it as it is. LifeLong recognises HubSpot's header names, including Associated Company, and ignores the properties it has no use for.

What LifeLong does with it

Every row becomes a Person. Matching runs on LinkedIn URL first, then email, then name, so re-exporting later enriches the people you already have instead of duplicating them.

Imported People arrive with no encounters yet, so they sit in the No encounters band on your Network map until something happens with them. They queue in Roll Call, where you decide who matters at your own pace, rather than landing as a thousand equally important names.
